Unfortunately you can't "program" the failsafe position. Failsafe is effectively "what the relays will do when de-energized". So they move to their NC (normally closed) posture, and whatever that ends up being in terms of signal routing is what you end up with. That's why with the current rotary, you end up in All 3 Parallel when failsafe happens. The only way to "reprogram" that is in hardware by changing what's connect to those NC nets. Which then throws off all the logic in the app, so you'd be in for quite a mess.This is a neat direction @CormacBass
I think an important factor would be to set your failsafe to a programmable option and app control I think would be a crazy important feature for an actual visual reference.
I would be interested with the right features built into the interfacing.
Eventually Bluetooth foot switchable would be sic for some users. If you can BT an app surely you can BT a foot switch.
Depress button for 5 sec to search/engage BT or something.
Hopefully I didn’t skim over the parts that say it’s all doable.
Remember, failsafe is supposed to be there for _unusual_ circumstances. The favorite and triple-tap are the human interface to get back to a known configuration you can work from. (I've had to wrap my head around it a bit, since default Position 1 is All 3 Parallel, matching failsafe _and_ Triple tap. But you can program position 1 to be whatever you want. I personally think of triple tap as a 2nd favorite right now. Single tap will be my most common used setting, and triple tap will be my 2nd most common used one).
