Direct to PC? hartke bass attack?

well i'm looking for a unit which can create a lovely sound when plugged directly into my pc, either via an internal soundcard or a usb soundcard or anything really. as long as provides a good recording solution!

so far on my mind i have the Sansamp BDDI pedal weighing in at £170, also i have the Hartke Bass attack pedal which is interesting me greatly, it is only£80 and i think it might do the job well, can i get any confirmation of this? any info on either of these pedals would be greatly appreciated, also if anyone can offer an alternative i would be happy. i want to keep it analogue so no pod's or V amp recommendations please

thanks everyone
