Question for the bass brain trust - those of you that have a lot of straps, how do you store/display them?

I have accumulated quite a few straps, mostly as gifts from my wife - more than a few are quite nice/custom work.

I'd like to be able to display them in a user-friendly way. In other words, I don't want them to be just decorations, I'd like to be able to easily use them, but also store them in a way that they can be seen.

I tried a few different tie racks, but one of the issues is that I use Dunlop straplocks on all of my straps, so they tend to snag on ones like these -

but I can't use hooks on ones like these due to the straplocks -

I have about 30 straps total, but the most I would have in one place would be ~8-10. I'd be open to different ideas - maybe a few on the wall, a few hanging in the closet ... I'm mostly looking for ideas!

What are y'all doing?

get some spare straplock buttons and put them in the wall, instead of hooks
I like that Idea - I have a few spare buttons here, and I have a nice piece of swamp cyprus that I am going to cut up and route the edges, put a few straps on each board. Thanks for the idea!

I also picked up these for the closet, for the ones that I don't display - works much better than the tie racks that I have tried before.

The TB answer is; buy a bass for each strap then hang them all on the wall.
I would, but I don't have the wall space, and I think my wife would object to our house looking like a Bass store.

Also, they are harder to count in racks, so it's easier to keep the actual number of basses I own a secret from her, and it's easier to slip one in from time to time ;-)

I kid of course ... my wife knows all about every bass - she's a gem!
