It may be fine, but as already noted the outside/skin veneer is decorative and very thin. In such ply the outside veneer wood and the core woods are commonly different species, like cheaper pine on the inside.
You should cut rabbets instead of butt joints, and you should rabbet down to a ply that has a perpendicular grain to the edge you joining it with. There are several sites and videos that talk about working with veneered plywood.
Your first cab should just be a prototype as most everyone get's something wrong. You may find yourself building it twice.![]()
