Do any companies make full scale telecaster basses ?

Here’s an idea that came to mind considering the neck dive issue. Has anyone ever made a headless Tele bass? Wouldn’t that lessen the neck dive?

Regarding neck dive, Mile Lull claims no dive with their TXB series.

I haven’t played one, but I can attest that their similarly short-horned non-reverse T-bird style bass is balanced with no dive.

MF did special edition a few years back 51' style Tele P bass (MIM), its my love/hate stage bass. Looks great plays nicely, but that slab body digs into my wrist. If the blonde finish wasn't so nice I'd route the edges (and probably a belly cut, my lean and mean years have moved on ). It's the P body style, not a true Tele. I just wear a sweat band on my right wrist.

I remember running into a Samick tele-style bass in the mid-late ‘90s. It looked cool and played well. No recollection on price. But one thing stuck out: the tuners were reversed. Not a reversed headstock, but you turned the tuners the opposite direction from what you’d expect.

Schecter had a Baron model, both with a faux semi-hollow look and solid body, both Tele shaped. Be forewarned, they are not the greatest sounding basses in the world with a questionable single H pickup. They do supply the awkward ergos and poor balance of a Tele-shaped long scale bass, though. So there's that.

Last time I checked, Warmoth makes Telecaster guitar shaped bass bodies and necks. 34" scale. You'll have to assemble it yourself.
