Do any of you use rasgueado?

Never really thought about it, but just realized after watching this video that I tend to use it when I need to kick it into overdrive.

I don’t use my thumb, but I will use anywhere from two to four fingers.

Great video! I never thought about the thumb up strum. I've been three finger flamenco strumming to some degree since I heard Primus's "Nature Boy" for the first time. The one thing I will say is that right hand pinky on bass might work for some, but it is inherently inefficient. The ring and pinky are linked by a tendon (at least it's much more pronounced there), so if you are going for speed, you are already losing by starting with something physically inefficient. But thanks for posting! You just added a new weapon to my arsenal. Old dog. New trick. Love it.
