No offence taken. I'm a Christian and I don't care for this style of music or lyric. I'm more of a traditionalist, myself. What I can hear of the bass sounds fine. The drummer is a bit much.

No offence taken. I'm a Christian and I don't care for this style of music or lyric. I'm more of a traditionalist, myself. What I can hear of the bass sounds fine. The drummer is a bit much.
If your band ends Enough with a guitar solo like that I think your style is a good fit.

I agree with many here.. the guitars and drums are way too loud in the mix and the background vocals are totally lost.. If I didn't see their lips moving I wouldn't think they were singing.. You are not overplaying at all from what I could hear.
EVERYBODY is overplaying for my taste. Particularly too much guitar and drums. Honestly I can't even really hear the bass.
I powered through to 2 minutes. I think the bass sounds fine. The drums are way too busy and mixed in a strange way. With the guitars I think the problem is partly with the tone everyone is using and with the lack of tightness between the players. Getting 3 people together plus a keyboard is not easy.
For a type of music that I don't listen to much.........Not that bad. Reminds me of that The New Radicals single. Good that you have the thought of overplaying in your head. Nothing to worry about there though, you've got some neat stuff going on there. Loving the drummer, reminds me of a guy I was in a band with a long time ago. Good times, thanks for reminding me.

Now I underst what you church musicians are talking about, I went to catholic church and there is not room for a band, what with our flagellation stations and knee breakers.
I have the same opinion of Christian rock music as i do Death metal, it would be great music if it was instrumental.
I dont think you overplay, sounds great to me, especially wiith your "Edge" type guitarist not leaving any room for the rest of the band to breathe.
Boost your mids if you want more presence in the mix, or use just the bridge pickup, go stand closer to the drummer, like right up in his face near the high hat and reign him in, lock to the kick and snare, force the drummer to sync with you so you two can alternate fills instead of him doing all of them, and fire the soundman. oh and maybe less neck slides..
