There is a company called Haz Labs which makes a "reissue" of the Mutron envelope filter, but it uses a very different circuit and does not sound as good as the real thing. You can tell the reissue because it is labeled "III+" instead of just "III". The original model is long out of production.
I think so, definitely, but I also would recommend that you search on all those relevant terms like mutron, qtron, envelope filter, etc. as there have been hundreds of threads discussing them in depth.
