Hold on here. You asked permission to post something on here? You're joking - right?
a fairly long track record of misogyny
To answer the question you posed, I think that is not completely acceptable these days, seems you feel the same way.Nope. Pretty much any urban public place.
Oh-I missed that; thanksThere were several smilies in his post...
I am starting to wonder what you are trying to accomplish here. Is there a point to this? You talking about music?
If you are, that is part of artist expression and no different than Led Zeppelin recording the Lemon Song.
Freedom of artistic expression is a different subject.
Not the same as more than 50% of the men here who voted I'm a man and it doesn't matter if women mind being called girls.
While all the women (except one guy voted pretending to be a woman) voted and posted clearly that it does bother them.
Which did not slow down the men trying so hard to justify their habits and whining that the world has changed too much and they don't like it.
I am starting to wonder what you are trying to accomplish here. Is there a point to this?
Guys and GalsGuys and Dolls
Guys and Gals
Guys and Dolls is a term from a 1955 movie, which explains the inequality in the use of those two terms to describe the characters in the movie.
Guys and Dolls is the same as Men and Girls only the women are now not children they are inanimate play toys.
Well, your join date is today, so...This forum? Never seen it. Skeptical.
A point to it? ....Sure.I am starting to wonder what you are trying to accomplish here. Is there a point to this?
A point to it? ....Sure.
I would guess you've noticed I am willing to argue at pretty much any time.![]()
You knew that about me a year ago!Ding ding ding.
So your point is just to argue. Your not trying to accomplish anything but you see this as a place to come and argue.A point to it? ....Sure.
Accomplish....I doubt anything will be accomplished in a day.
But if some guys here want to keep trying to prove their viewpoint is correct, even though every woman who posted disagreed with their viewpoint, I am very willing to argue back.
I would guess you've noticed I am willing to argue at pretty much any time.
More than half the men here think they are correct in their attitude that it doesn't matter if women mind being called girls.
I say their arguments and excuses are bullshot, and that it would be no big deal to look in the mirror for a minute, and possibly adjust.
I see those arguing the hardest to preserve their antiquated attitude as 'snowflakes' that can't accept they might be wrong, are unwilling to acknowledge that this exists, acknowledge that they might do it (unconsciously sometimes) occasionally, and that it is real to the ever forgiving females, as we just saw with catcauphonic.
You must be fun at parties. You knew that about me a year ago!![]()
The young attractive woman at the post office who is young enough to be my daughter called me darlin today, as she usually does. I demand equal rights !
