Do women mind being called girls?

Does it bother you?

  • Yes, I'm a woman and it does bother me

  • No, I'm a woman and it doesn't bother me

  • I'm a man & think it doesn't matter

  • I'm a man & women are women, not girls

You talking about music?
If you are, that is part of artist expression and no different than Led Zeppelin recording the Lemon Song.
Freedom of artistic expression is a different subject.
Not the same as more than 50% of the men here who voted I'm a man and it doesn't matter if women mind being called girls.
While all the women (except one guy voted pretending to be a woman) voted and posted clearly that it does bother them.
Which did not slow down the men trying so hard to justify their habits and whining that the world has changed too much and they don't like it.
I am starting to wonder what you are trying to accomplish here. Is there a point to this?

Guys and Dolls
Guys and Gals
Doll is a term used for both sexes.
Guys and Dolls is the title of a 1955 movie, which explains the inequality in the use of those two terms paired to describe the characters in the movie.
Guys and Dolls is the same as Men and Girls only the women are now reduced from children to inanimate play toys.

No you got it all wrong. Guys and Dolls is the same as Tensioned Cables and Inanimate Objects.

A point to it? ....Sure.
Accomplish....I doubt anything will be accomplished in a day.
But if some guys here want to keep trying to prove their viewpoint is correct, even though every woman who posted disagreed with their viewpoint, I am very willing to argue back.
I would guess you've noticed I am willing to argue at pretty much any time. ;)
More than half the men here think they are correct in their attitude that it doesn't matter if women mind being called girls.
I say their arguments and excuses are bullshot, and that it would be no big deal to look in the mirror for a minute, and possibly adjust.
I see those arguing the hardest to preserve their antiquated attitude as 'snowflakes' that can't accept they might be wrong, are unwilling to acknowledge that this exists, acknowledge that they might do it (unconsciously sometimes) occasionally, and that it is real to the ever forgiving females, as we just saw with catcauphonic.

So your point is just to argue. Your not trying to accomplish anything but you see this as a place to come and argue.
