With my current gig, one guitarist uses a Boss Super Overdrive for a lead boost and that's all. The other guitarist goes straight into his Triple Rectifier.

I run through a octave, two dirt boxes, chorus and delay, plus I have a compressor and a sonic maximizer in my rack.

So yes, I do.

He has just bought a NOS sixty something Les Paul and uses a Marshall JVM amp. It's noisy as all hell and he gets terrible feed back. So he has one between the guitar and amp then another one in the effects loop.

You can the guitar in my link. as for amp he goes through them about every 3 months or so, so he had a mesa at that show.

Oddly enough, for all the effects I've owned, sold, and explored, I have less than our band's guitarists...

I currently only use two pedals, although it might be three again in the future. If you count the overdrive channel footswitch for my amp (which I use frequently), then I guess it's three now...

Our rhythm guitarist uses a Line 6 POD X3 Live (mostly for tonal variations, and some reverb). His non-band board, though, is packed with a variety of oddities including an EHX POG. Meanwhile, the lead guitarist is usually armed with a Morley Bad Horsie 2, TC Electronic delay (I can't remember which one... but it's small), and a few ever-changing others. Plus, he uses a Line 6 Vetta for practice, and that thing's loaded...

the guitarist i almost always play with uses at the absolute most a wah, delay, chorus and phase. 90% of the time he has just the wah.

me on the other hand..well..ive pretty much got one of everything. 10+ pedals.

well, at the moment i have 4, 2 distortions, one for a mild overdrive, one for a heavier fuzzier distortion, a wah and a tuner. 3 if you dont count the tuner

my guitarist if any at all uses a wah....

no telling what shes got hiding around her house tho, shes got a ton of musical equipment

Nope... I don't have any effects at all. None.

[I was fooling about again with a Behringer rackmount compressor the other week (its left over from gear i owned a while ago) but, frankly, it seemed to make no positive contribution to the sound at all.]

My guitarist seems obscessed with stomp boxes. He orders these things from a guy in the US I believe. He's got one now that makes his Strat and small Marshall rig sound like a 1952 Gibson through a vintage Fender amp. It's pretty good ... until he plays his own 1952 Gibson through his vintage Fender amp!!! But that's guitarists for you.

Yes, I run an 11 pedal board, while guitarist #1 uses a multi, a comp, and maybe 2 others. Otoh, guitarist #2, (different band), has an Echoplex, as well as maybe 6 or 8 other pedals. Close, but I still (win?).

I do own more, but I only bring a tuner and some dirt to shows/practice.

My guitarist is currently limited to the crappy build in effects on his Line 6 Spider amp, while I have more pedals than I have cables to hook them all together.

Having said no effects I do occasionally use the octaver in the Ashdown head. Not very often, but I do use it....
