A friend of ours had some chinchillas until their Jack Russell dog ate them. On one of them, it ran into a little clear plastic ball it hid in, but the opening was big enough for the dogs head. So the dog popped in his head, and had a tasty snack waiting for him. It was gross to see it, but kinda funny too.

A friend came home drunk one night, looked at his chinchilla in the cage and thought FREEDOM! So he let him out for the night. He came down the next morning to find the cat in the room and the poor chincilla up on top of the door-frame looking petrified, not the kind of relaxing freedom he intended, but the thought was there
