How do you mostly platy one and mostly play the other? No both option![]()
1 battery in a year's time, max.... usually way longer if you unplug the bass and aren't playing a lot. Batteries themselves have shelf lives of years. So it's not something you do 'all the time.' People use up more batteries in a given year swapping them out in their smoke detectors.... or you SHOULD anyways.passive basses sound better to my ears. Plus, I already have too many things to think about, stress about and/or remember to worry aboutwithout buying and changing batteries all the time. Also, dead batteries ain't so good for the environment.
Still ... it boggles my mind why we aren't moving more quickly toward rechargeable batteries wherever possible, or at least reasonably possible.1 battery in a year's time, max.... usually way longer if you unplug the bass and aren't playing a lot. I don't really like their tone, they're heavy, they have knobs that I'll rarely mess with and they're more expensive. Whats to like?
Stop being so wasteful and get the rechargeable carrots. You just put em in the ground for a few hours.![]()
I’ve seen people trying to use carrots for power
Not with all the PBass purists on talkbass. This poll surprised me…I would have thought overwhelmingly active.
