Seems like zits has been coming up a lot lately in OT. Figured a respective bump was in order.

I'll just pop this right here.

HUGE CYST EXTRACTION - YouTube

That man may be in for more trouble because the operation area did not not look as sanitary as it could be. I just had surgery for a very large cyst because I kept cleaning it out myself. What happened was that every time I cleaned it out, I was not as sanitary as I could be and it came back larger and larger. The doctor did surgery, cleaned and packed it. Then he stitched it up. I kept it bandaged for several days. A cyst is different from a simple blackhead or pimple because it is totally under the skin and needs professional removal.

Video or it didn't happen. :hiding:

I always pop zits. I don't enjoy it per se, but every one that I don't pop come back bigger, angrier, and more painful. Doctors and dermatologists don't know what they're talking about when they say don't pop them.

A pimple is not a cyst. A cyst is a pimple that for whatever reason does not break the skin. If it is located in an area that is like the crotch, underarm, or someother place that does not always get air or is exposed, it can easily get reinfected if it is not opened in a sanitary fashion. If it gets reinfected, there is a good chance it can come back bigger.
