Do you stop watching your team?

I'm sure many of us have a pro or college football team (or both) that we support. Naturally, I'm a Broncos fan.

But if they loose about 5 games in a row....I loose interest and just stop watching - I pick another team that's winning and start watching them instead.

Do you guys do this? Or do you keeping watching your team(s) no matter what?

Nope, I sure don't. I've been a fan of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins my entire life. Nothing is going to change that.

The exception for me would be pro basketball. I did not grow up with an NBA team, so it hasn't been a part of me since my youth. I really like the Houston Rockets, but when they play poorly I stop paying attention until they are playing good again.

Yes. For the past 3 years I watch the first 2 Husker games, get pissed, and don't watch anymore football until next season hoping that "This'll be our year!"

It's the Steelers and the Jazz for me. If they are doing absolutely horribly, I'll simply stop watching. I'd never jump ship, however.

Even though I'm a fan of them, I also take in part of making fun of them. Yes, the other Pittsburgh team, the Pirates. Setting (losing!) records since 1992!

Come to think of it, I like Rossi better, now that he's not kicking ass.

As a Washington State Cougar for life, I DO NOT leave games early, nor lose interest in the team regardless of record. It's MY team, win or lose. You're either committed or not - and that's the story.

Two or three bad years in a row (not something trivial like 5 games) are no reason to change this.

If you don't stick with your team regardless, you're a lightweight!!

As most know, I'm a Colts fan. Growing up most home games were "blacked out" so I would listen (intensely! ) to the game on the radio. Yes, I even did this during the the seasons were they only won one to three games the whole season.

As for watching the games, I'm the same way. I watch till the final whistle blows. Win or slaughtered.
