Do you think you practice enough?

And I do keep a beater bass handy.
An ibanez 300m
It is always out and I will pick it up a few minutes at a time.
And staying with that.
Like I said it keeps me more in line than sitting down once on the weekend and spending hours...it seems like an hour is just remembering what I did last weekend.

I always used to try and practice for 2 hours a day and I thought anything less was unacceptable, that is until I ended up struggling with RSI due to lack of warm up and couldn't play at all for about 5 months. So in the 5 months off I was struggling really badly but I was doing lots of reading up on theory, listening to music and watching loads of bassists online, and basically just staring at the neck of the bass and visualising playing it. I've not long started to play again and if im honest I think it's made me a better player. Now im taking it easy and playing for no more than 15 minutes at a time, just until I can build up some strength. Im not sure if I'll ever manage to get back to the 2 hours a day, and to be honest Im not that bothered if I don't, im just happy to be back playing at all :D
