Do you Twitter?

I have a Twitter account set up on my PC and my phone (@bassybill) but I pretty much never use it. I dig Facebook and I'm on there quite a lot, but I still don't get what Twitter can do for me and so I don't visit.

For me, I use Facebook to stay in touch with my friends and family. I like being able to share pictures from vacations, see newborns and keep in touch with people scattered across the country easily.

On Twitter, 95% of the people I follow are people I don't know. I get all of my sports news via Twitter, and usually know about trades and injuries well before it shows up on ESPN.com or the local paper's site. I follow musicians, which has lead to hearing about a couple "secret shows" and some free downloads, and I follow various comedians (Patton Oswalt's twitter feed is brilliant, as is Sarah Silverman's), reporters, etc.

When I update my blog (once in a blue moon), I post the link to both my FB and Twitter, and I get more hits from Twitter (though Reddit crushes them both as far as traffic generation).
