Well..............I just finished and the D800+ came out on top. I find the combination of the three knobs (1) Input (2) HPF & (3) Voicing, just adds the "icing on the cake". This D800+ is really a "little gem". So many great tones can be found. I really think this model might be the "sleeper" of all the Subway amps. (But I haven't tried them all, so that's just my opinion). YMMV.Well, to be honest, I had a real good blast on the D800+ last night & never gave the streamliner a turn. So, I'll just grab a cold beverage now & then plug in the "Mighty" Genz-Benz Streamliner 900+ and see if I can create some Thunder! Watch this space.............................
EDIT: I was thinking though, a fair contest would be running an HPF with the Streamliner, then compare. (If only I had an HPF!! LOL)
And to stay on course with the thread title: I use the deep switch when using my active Warwicks & (changed from my first post) use the deep switch on my passive p-basses. That's at my home space, playing quite loud (families away) so I'd imagine gigging or jamming with friends, I might change it up a bit.
