Dude - Looks like you just enjoyed a couple bong hits and your pooches got the 2nd hand smoke!My mutts love music.
Without fail, every time I pick up a bass at home, I end up with mutts on my lap while I practice.

Our recently deceased doggy liked to hang around during rehearsals. He dug it when people were playing together.
When I played in a circus band I got a bit of a taste of how different animals react to music. Horses seemed quite musical - very sensitive to what we played, for example adjusted their trot to the tempo of the tune, and speed it up if we upped the tempo (Kind of a problem, because we played this 10 minute Gypsy medley behind the act that was wholly built on gradually speeding up the tempe) . If we got kinda loud or messy the horses wanted to step away form the circus ring border every time they passed the orchestra pit lol. Pigs on the other hand seem completely tonedeaf. They were busy waging their private wars with their menders, no matter what we threw at them, musically speaking. Dogs seemed to reside somewhere in the middle, in terms of musicality. We could get their attention with music, but only in the context of social activity.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but there are a couple metal bands that have animal members. There is a band with a parrot called Hatebeak and a band with a dog called Caninus.
