I loved the little nods to William Hartnell when he came out on the show (holding his lapels and pulling the Hartnell "look").![]()
I don't watch a ton of Doctor Who, I'm more a fan of Doctor What.
I prefer Doctor Where. In the study. With the lead pipe.
Hey keep Doctor With out of this!!
Let me know Doctor When youve had enough...

Quick question - because I cut cable a couple of years ago and haven't caught up on Netflix yet, so I'm out of the loop.
Way back in the Tom Baker days, in the "Deadly Assassin" storyline, they asserted that a Time Lord gets twelve regenerations and then he dies for good. I'm not sure if that was supposed to mean 12 or 13 incarnations, now that I think about it. (the plot line there was that the Master had used up his last regeneration and was trying to find a way to extend his life).
Which, if that's still the rule, would mean the Doctor is counting down to his last regeneration. Has there been any hints about ending the series, or otherwise dealing with this issue?
Having said that, I'm sure the writers will find a loophole in the smallprint to circumvent such trivial matters as continuity![]()
