So I just got one. And I see miles of possibilities with the settings and sounds in the this beast. I wont have any to share just yet. But I was hoping some of you that have had yours since it's release have settled on some settings you like and wouldn't mind sharing here.

I figured this would also be a great way for guys that are just getting it to have some starting points. I know I could use it at this point. I've already said it in a couple other threads but man, this thing is blowing my mind at how many sounds it's capable of. I will share some insight and possibly settings later tonight. But in the meantime, what about you all, where have you guys settled with this bad boy so far?

So here's my first settings share. This is a really sharp and cutting yet full bodied fuzz. This actually lets a lot of your bass through too. I dig.

So I told myself I wouldn't need another distortion/fuzz for a while since I'm happy with my Blower Box, but the demos of this sound very cool and I like how unique the controls are. Plus I might be doing a psychedelic rock band with a friend soon and I might need a good fuzz.

In your experience, is it possible to get a Hoof/Cloven Hoof sound? I really like that pedal for sounding a bit more mid-focused and tighter than a regular muff. This would be a nice inexpensive option to get a similar tone.

Well I've never played a hoof. But the carcosa can get muff'ish. It most definitely can get 70s fuzz tones. And the high pass does a great job at adjusting the EQ so yeah, I think you'll be good. It's worth a shot anyway ;) I love this pedal. I can't stop playing it.

Well I went ahead and ordered it with the $20 off code (it's "Carcosa" if anyone's interested) from PGS. I'm excited to try it for myself! At $80 it seems like a steal.

Score!! I got mine used so I snagged it for about the same. I'm so happy with this fuzz!! It's one of the cooler ones I've ever played. Here is a page from the manual I found pretty useful.

Please rectify the lack of bass examples on Youtube. I have much interest but no inspiration save words.

Yeah I'll try. I'm not really set up for good YouTube quality videos. But I can get something up to where you could at least hear the low end on it if you're wearing headphones.

I'm trying to upload something but it's not jiving. No internet at the moment.

Here is where mine is currently sitting.
Tone is meaty, with nice low end presence and mid range bite. I've been using it in place of my muff tone (Wren and Cuff TFR), since it does have more mid range presence, but it is more towards a smoother side of the Carcosa instead of some of the spittier tones.

Yes, that is a great setting. Tame yet still very present and cutting. I run my high cut a little higher though so I can really get that treble content. Where you have it sounds solid though. Very.
