That is insane! I get all wobbly from going up steep steps! I hate going up bleachers! I would not be able to do this.

That's just crazy! Without hooking up for safety, which would slow them down considerably, these guys have steel nerves. I've made my Irata certificate and am still out looking for a job as an industrial climber, but will never ever do what these guys do. Great to watch though!
I have vertigo and walking into a room with a high ceiling especially if it has things hanging down from it to distract my attention makes me feel sick. So I didn't do well with this, but I watched it all the way through. I actually in a way didn't want it to end. I wanted to see what the hell they were going to fix once they got up there! 
I HOPE that salary is low because 40-60k? Damn. I know elevator repairmen that make 100k.

The video didn't bother me at all. But in real life I would freak in the enclosed part, let alone the free climb "outside".

Doesn't bother me at all. He's the one on the tower. I sure as hell wouldn't do it, though. I stood at the top of the World Trade Center, pre-9/11, with my toes against the glass looking down at the ant-like people on the ground. No big deal.
how come they didn't mention that those towers also tend to sway! although, i'm sure they wouldn't climb on a windy day, Doh!

Im curious why they don't, it would make all the sense in the world with how compact chutes can be now-a-days.

It's interesting some of you are bothered to the point of not being able to watch it. I wonder what causes the fear of heights.
Yes, I get the whole fear of falling obviously.
But who's not afraid of falling? Everyone shares that basic instinct, what leaves me intrigued is the actual emotional reaction to heights some people have.
Not to say I'm any different, just not as effected I guess.
Would I climb that tower? HELL NO
If some strange freak accident of space and time landed me up there, would I freak out completely and lose all sense of control. Honestly I think it's doubtful.
I'm not afraid of heights at all, however I have a great respect for the power of gravity.
