The weights in case anyone is wondering are:
Warwick Thumb (4NT Bubinga and Wenge) 9.9 lbs
Warwick Corvette (4BO Bubinga and Ovangkol) 9.4 lbs
Fender Precision Deluxe (4 String Alder and Maple) 9.2 lbs
Warwick Corvette (4 String Ash and Maple NT) 8.3 lbs
While I agree that a Thumb is more heavy than a Fender Precision...It is not tremendously so. It is a bit unfair to compare the weight of a 6 string Thumb to a 4 string Jazz. I assume when you are playing certain instruments...you accept that they are heavier. That said, 2 lbs difference definitely makes a bass feel super light.
