There's a ray on reverb for 775 and I can't pull the trigger becuase....it's gloss black. It even comes with a little "mojo"

If I don't like the color, I won't even considering playing it.
For me, it's like a car: if I cannot stand the sight of it why in the bleep would I spend my money on it?

But I find myself seriously despising the idea of every buying a sunburst or especially a black bass ever again.

I like the original Antigua and not the reissueI really don’t care that much, as long as it’s not Antigua.I hate deciding on a color more than thinking about finishes that I don’t like.
I'm willing to bet we're on opposing sides of the "players bass" spectrum too. But I still hate a gloss black body. Except on a Ric. I can fux with the Jetglo
