Does sex with an ex always cause complications regarding friendship. Ive got my ex girlfriend coming to visit me this weekend. Right now were just friends, but i can see some potential of it getting to more than that because shes sleeping over and all. Is this a bad idea? I had mucho drama with her in the past and cannot let it come back to that.

Who cares about the friendship if she's an ex? Hit it. That ship has already shoved off anyway. No drama. As soon as it gets weird change her listing in your cell phone back to uh-oh.

If you're in any way messed up about the relationship don't do it. It's only gonna make it way worse. My three year downward spiral can attest to this.
A friend of mine was seperated from his wife and continued to have sex with her, even after they were divorced. They were both perfectly happy with this arrangement because the relationship problems they had when married were behind them and sex was one of the few things about which they never had disagreements, and after a decade together they were comfortable with each other's sexual needs and wants. Since she was also no longer able to become pregnant and at the time was living on her own, there were no worries of risk, either. It was a win-win for both of them.
most of the the time yes. i've dealt with some F%*(#$# up **** due to some really dumb decisions I've made with ex-girlfriends. just move on bro, there's other fish in the pond.
Have NO idea... this has never happened to me. Once it was officially "over" the fire not only went out, but the ashes were doused in ice water! Its a mystery to me why someone would even want to be in this particular situation.

If you're able to be completely sociopathic, I say hit it and quit it. But if you still care about her as a friend (you DID say you guys were still friends, right?) I would prob. tell her to sleep on the couch.

one of my first girlfriends was like this. lots of drama when we broke up. we ended up getting together after a family member died and she had no one left to turn to but me. so we got it on a few times while she was in town for the funeral. needless to say i wrecked her numerous times. after that she tried to get back with me. hah. yeah, i'm going to get back with a nut bag....so yeah. i had to change my number and email and what not, but it was worth it. she was super hot, and super crazy.
yeah. hit it, and split it.
