But when you say you can't get comfortable, do you mean ergonomically or aesthetically? Can't help with the former, but if it's the latter I'm-a go all Queer Eye on you and suggest you sharpen up your ensemble.
$200 or so at Banana Republic (everything's always on discount there) can get you into a couple stage-worthy (and date-worthy and office-worthy) outfits. Pro tip: Take your S.O. along. I used to think I could shop for myself. My wife disabused me of that notion some years ago and life is very better
- Find some nicer trou with a more tailored look.
- Lose the white short-sleeve white shirt. It's never ever a good look on anyone (except Book of Mormon cast members). Go with colorful!
- Co-signed on everything @Winslow says about the strap. The way to inform people that you're a Beatles tribute band is by playing Beatles songs well. Swap it out for something like this: Dark Stitch Skinny Leather Guitar Strap. A MUCH better look for the Hofner; Macca would approve.

Pants with a waist that sits low exaggerates any gut. Higher waist is your friend here. The angle of the photo doesn’t help either.
A black long sleeve shirt, cuffs rolled up, not tucked in, would look 10x sharper.
It's a Beatle Bass. It's iconic. OTOH, if you don't like playing it, it's a great wall decoration

Not at all. All the crowd is thinking is “oh cool, that guy is playing one of those Beatle basses.” In their eyes you’re that much more legit.

I'm 6'3" 245 and this is the same reason I stopped playing Musicman Sterling USA basses. I love the sound, the way they feel, they're nice and light...and they're so small that they look ridiculous on me. Although, the photo of you with the Hofner looks fine.
The bass looks fine, I agree a rolled-up long sleeve shirt would sharpen the overall look. Plus, the audience won't care anyway about the bass-to-bassist size ratio.

The white shirt and tie with black pants was the BL's idea. I went with short sleeves because...ya know...August? I didn't realize it was a fashion faux pas. Normally I wear something like this:
You look fine. Wear a darker colored shirt if you don't want the Hofner to stand out so much.

It's not bad at all in that department. I've had worse. Might be the ancient LaBella Beatle bass flats helping with that...
The lead player (middle guy) is Don Mancuso. He played in a band called Black Sheep back in the day with a drummer/vocalist named Lou Graham. He also has played with Lou on his solo albums/gigs.
Been in a Beatles trib myself. Hofner sometimes feels like a toy at first, then I get used to it. Love it anyway.

If you wear that combination again, you definitely need to set a red Swingline stapler on top of your amp!
