when I switched tunings I relearned the fingerboard so that when you ask for a B I play a B for you.

I'm re-learning the fretboard in DGCF as I need it for my latest (country) project and the others I'm in at the moment are just jams so they can deal with me stumbling a bit . I don't foresee any need to ever play in EADG again.

Well the guitarist I play with likes to tune to Eb without saying anything. Also, he doesn't use a tuner, understand notes at all, or what exactly is happening when he is tuning down.

BUT, he is very talented and a blast to play with, so I just adjust when I can and have fun playing music.
