Hey guys, what I want is a blend pedal for my Pedaltrain Mini, but I have some very specific size requirements as I want to drop it in the little channel along the back! Does anything like this exist, and if not, how hard would it be for me to build? The case seems like the biggest hassle, though I've no idea how big these things need to be. I used to have an X-Blender and it wasn't exactly small. Doesn't need a footswitch/LED, as I figure always on should be fine. A passive circuit would be a huge plus. It's just to get some bottom end retention for my Aguilar Agro really, as the Pickle Pie B already has a blend knob (which I'd then just stick to 100% wet I guess).

I can deal with the loss of low end if this would be too big of a deal, but I figure if it wasn't too hard it could be nice to have. Thanks!

If they don't have it, they would probably build it if possible.

Passive blending is usually not a good idea. Try this

What he said ^^^^. Very simple build and size dictated only by the number of jack sockets and the size of the pot used. Omitting the switch should save you enough room to make it work.

I've built several into 1590A enclosures (about 93mm by 39mm) so with a bit of jiggling could be made to fit the specified dimensions. The only issue I can see is getting an enclosure of the size you've mentioned as I don't believe it's standard.

Personally I'd just replace the Agro with a pedal that has a clean blend if that's the whole point. Darkglass VMT or B3K, MXR Bass Distortion, Way Huge Pork Loin, or just get a pedal that doesn't lose any low end...SolidGold Beta, Hardwire Tube Overdrive, Bearfoot Blueberry...

The Agro loses low end? Can't see that, as Dave's a longtime bass player and I can't imagine him putting out a pedal that doesn't retain lows.

Agreed. It sounds like OP needs to mess with the knobs some more. I had one and while you could get it to lose lows with certain settings, you could almost certainly get something serviceable out of it. Only reason I moved on from mine was because I needed lower gain.
