Does this performance stand work for electric bass?

@Watchootognbout --- thanks for the heads up on that viking guitar stand! 👍 but, i can't seem to get to the price (on the checkout page i presume) with my chrome or firefox browser. can you tell me the price, please? TIA

The description in your link says it only holds guitars with a thickness of between 2.95” to 5.31”. Measure the thickness of your bass and then you’ll know if this stand will work for you or not. I’m guessing most electric basses are thinner than 2.95”. If you scroll down the webpage you’ll find other suggested products, including the electric guitar version of this stand.

That's a terrible website. Looking elsewhere, I can see somebody sold one used for $199 plus shipping three months ago. So I'm guessing they're over $200 new :smug:

I was just advertised this one the other day. Looks more specifically for bass.

Still not…cheap but more reasonable

The Fearless flyers use Mbrace stands:

Unfortunately, discontinued. In an interview, they said they have 4 of them, so they can tolerate one breaking. After that, they're in trouble, as it's part of their schtick. The one cool thing is...you can play a heavy bass without dealing with the weight.
