Does this Pot set up exist?

So I'm doing up a Mexican standard PBass just as a novelty fun bass to go crazy with and I wanted to bassically, to have no volume and tone knob and just have a switch that is in the on position full tone full volume and in the off position tone off volume off... Does this set up exist or can I make it easily. I have EMG px in there at the moment. I'd prefer to keep the system solderless
 
Lots of people do it. You just need to wire the pickups to the jack and put a switch parallel to the signal.

Note that the tone is going to change without any loading to drop the output impedance. If you want it to sound the same as if there were pots, a simple resistor of value close to the sum of all resistive loads will be sufficient.

So can I use an EMG guitar switch pot or do I have to use a switch pot specifically for bass I'm not sure if they make an EMG bass switch... Might have to go with another brand.

I'm not sure what parts you are talking about, but any latching switch will get the job done. Just be sure to avoid excessively heavy duty switches, as you don't want to hear switch pop.
A very common choice for switches on instruments is the mini toggle switch. They are commonly available with DPDT switching patterns, but SPST, SPDT and DPST are sufficient.

Another option is a push button switch. Again, be sure you are using a latching switch, as they are often momentary switches.

A more unique choice would be a slide switch.

I'd go with one of these. A mercury tilt switch. From china they are a few cents each. In an [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], you'll still only pay a few dollars.

Simply wire the pickup straight to the jack and wire this across the jack. Then mount it inside the cavity so that the little blob of mercury closes the contacts when the bass is upright, in a guitar stand. This will mute the pickup.

When you pick up the bass and put it on your shoulder, the switch opens, and the bass is unmuted.

This way you don't have any holes to drill.

Interesting concept.

There is one potential issue. The pickup is active, so the bass still needs to be unplugged when not in use. Reliance on the position-sensitive killswitch may make it easy to forget this.
