Double Buck Nut Width Please

Cant seem to find specs anywhere , could be a J Bass 38mm or P Bass 41mm upwards, who knows. I read on TB that later Rockbasses went to thinner necks but cant find any solid stats anywhere, reason is I dont want anything wider than a 38mm J width , 40 at a pinch , and will have to drive for miles to check one out . Thanks in advance

BTW its a Rockbass $$ im after for a backup, not sure if they are different from the Germans

I think BSD has a used Rockbass in stock. If I remember, I'll measure the nut width this afternoon. Or you could just call George there - he'll probably do it for you.

Hmmm ... BSD's is a RockBass Fortress 4-string. I have no idea whether it'll help you, but the nut width is 1½ inches (38.10 mm), while the distance between the E and G strings center-to-center is 1¼ inches (31.75 mm).
