double gig bag!

I am now super careful with new gig bags, I bought a retro tweed Fender gig bag and put my '74 Precision in it and the strap let go before I got out of the house. No damage but pretty scary. The swivel came apart, all I had to do was take a pair of vicegrips and sqeeze it together, and it's fixed for good. I check everything first before I trust it.

Oh my god double gigbag! Double gigbag all the way!!! Wow!! It's so vivid, it's so intense!! It's starting to look like a triple gigbag!!! Whoah. Wow! Double gigbag all the way! What does this MEEEN???!? -cry- wow oh my god!!

FTW.

I have a double Gator bag for guitar, and it's been fantastic except for the grippy stuff on the inside of the strap that has been flaking off. A little annoying, but the bag seems very sturdy.

Here's the bass version:

Note that it works well over one shoulder and not the other. It's an "over the head" kind of sling bag. It may be your cup of tea, maybe not.

Access stage 3 double bag is the best value I have seen so far. I emailed access to find an independent dealer in my area and it was only $75. It's damn heavy with both basses in it, but to be able to carry them on my back with a cab and amp/bag in each hand is incredibly convenient.
