Same way I feel right about buying generic meds. The R&D is not my concern.
I also drive a Japanese car.
Nice!
You've probably never developed anything that generates revenue for you

did this happen before between Rondo and EB?EBMM is already aware and on top of this.
You'd figure people would learn.

Not many people have. Most of us work for "the man".

Yeap.
Jay Turser does not use the 3 + 1 headstock, that's why they are allowed IIRC.

That makes sense...it's still kinda sad IMO. I really doubt people who want Stingrays are seeing the Douglas one and thinking, "oh just as good as the real thing!" I wonder how much money EB is really losing because people are buying these instead of OLPs.Yeap.

Indeed. I certainly see that side of the equation as well. I guess I just find it a bit more intriguing that EB is going after these guys while Fender and Gibson seem to be ignoring them even though they have far more Fender and Gibson copies being sold.I can see where you're coming from but would you want someone else making money off your work?
I find it strange that people love the design so much yet show no respect at all for the guy that developed it. If you truely love the MM design how could you feel right about buying an un-licensed, imported clone??
