Wow .. is that a Standel Super Imperial .. always wanted one of those in the 60's .. I had an Artist.

At 15, I bought my first amp - it was an ancient FBT bass combo - 60W. That didn't last a week at rehearsal. It starting distorting like crazy. Got in massive debt with my mom and purchased a Trace Elliot head and 2 x 15 cabinet. Sounded great but it was a 2 man job to move that thing around (I'm only 5"6). But I played that rig for about 8 years.

Replaced the Trace Elliot Head with a GK400RB-II. Soon after I got a GK 4x10 (SBX) and got rid of the Trace Elliot rig.

I replaced the 4x10 with a 2x10 and soon after bought a GK MB500.

The GK 2x10 blew up and I got an identical model with Neo Drivers.

The GK MB500 and GK neo 2x10 is still the only rig I own but it almost never leaves the house as 95% of my gigs are with a pedalboard and IEMs and I couldn't be happier.

Once I moved on from my small Fender starter combo, I ran a Yorkville 15" combo (200B I think?) Switched to the Bassmaster head and 410 which I rigged for well over a decade. I only started exploring lightweight gear within the past 3-4 years but I'm all aboard. Started with the GK Neo 212 and MB200 and have been exploring combinations ever since. Currently running an Eden WTX500 and Mesa Subway 115. Fully agree with the person that said it's a dream to pack it all up at 1 am and get it into the car in 1 trip.
