DR Lowriders and Geddy Lee Jazz bass?

I'm thinking of putting DR Lowriders on my Geddy Lee Jazz bass.

Any opinions about this combination? How is it soundwise? Do you think that the lowriders go better with a precision bass? Is the string tension to much for te slim neck? If so, which other DR-string would you recommend?

I play mostly rock music, i play fingerstyle and with a pick.

I put a set of Marcus Millers on mine a couple of years back and they sounded pretty good; but I typically keep the Rotosound 66's on it...
