I'm a new DR Strings user, Black Beauties in the 40-100 gauge on my black Peavey Dyna Unity LTD PJ and a Glarry Fretless P, digging the feel and sound. The coating reminds me of a set I have long used on my fretless Peavey foundation that is well over 40 years strong Kaman Performers that were "Kamfalon" coated or their version of Teflon.
