This guy eather has roadies, is young and dumb, or mommy and daddy will write a check for anything and because of that he always wants more. BuT THE MAIN QUESTION IS why and gig you can play that has enough stage room to hold all of this plus the rest of your band must have a bad ass pa and thats all you need
nah, i recon he plays in a fairly quiet jazz quartet, hehe

I saw a local act recently and the bass player had a 8x10 and a 2x15 with 500 tube watts total. The g****rist had three 140 watt tube amps, each with a cowwesponding 4x12. When they cranked it all there were times when the drums and vocals were almost completely drowned out. Small club. I had a blast.

C'mon... complaining about this stuff or requiring proof of ownership of the original 8x10s is just silly and close minded.

If I were going to set up a rig with 4 810s and 4 heads but in stereo then I would just feed signal to the two amp sides via an AB switch of some sort and then slave the first amp on each side to the second amp. I dont see any need to feed a different signal to each head unless you want to effect each differently or have different gain settings. It wouldnt be stereo then anyway.

I dont think its so outrageous. Gigging musicians or those folks who make their livelyhood will scoff at such a set up for obvious reasons but others like myself play just for fun. I carry around heavy gear because I love what I have and it happens to be heavy. If I had 4 810s, 4 heads, and a place to peel the paint I would most certainly be doing so! :D
