This reminds me of a friend with a fantastic since of humor who used to perform solo with a dulcimer. At some point in the show he'd bring out his "new-fangled drum machine" which would be one of those toy monkeys with the cymbals. He hit the switch and the monkey kept the beat. First time I saw this I laughed until I cried. He told me after the show he actually had various sets of batteries that he used to keep different time based on the life left in the batteries.

Just goes to show you that there's music in everything. My younger daughter is always catching me tapping my foot to something... anything. When she points it out, I usually have to figure out what it is. Fortunately, it hasn't been things just going on in my head!

But to my ears, those other guys seem just a leetle bit behind the beat. Must have been used to playing with a real drummer...lol )-(
