Ducttape bass?

How does that EMG sound in that position? Both solo'ed and together with the P.

thats what i was wondering- i love the placement of that pickup, looks like the sweet spot to me. how does it sound?

the tape turned out nice.. but yellow basses are the bomb..

Awesome! Let them all know that they sell direct from their website. Shipping is outrageous, but it's worth it a couple times a year for the wife and I. I've used it as a mixer... it works very well as a substitute for most clear sodas IMHO. The wife likes to make Ale8 floats with vanilla ice cream.

The only problem with duct tape is that it tends to roll up after awhile, especially with handling. Maybe a coat of polyurethane would avoid that.

you can also special order a keg of ale8 too. im getting one on tap in my basement.

when i first posted this i thought everyone was gonna harass me saying it was a dumb idea haha. thanks everyone for the suggestions and the comments. i will try to record a few sound samples with it as soon as i can so you can hear what it sounds like.

That's actually not that crazy. Navy Pilots tape over their helmets. It's not duct tape... Some other kind. There's always another use for tape.

You definately have some creativity. But I forsee it rolling up and some sticky arms... You could've done a respray with some searching on the net, sand paper and a can or two of krylon. That should be under $20 even with some aircraft stripper...

The P in the OP looked a lot better in yellow. The beercan PGs I like, though.
