That makes sense. I didn't have a lot of time to play around, so I may get the hand of the controls a little better with some more experience....You definitely need to use your ears and not be afraid to use extreme settings on the knobs....
What's your pedalboard set up?

My pedalboard setup is
fdeck HPF->Hardwire Tuner->Rolls Crossover->highs into Tech 21 Leeds-> lows and highs into cheap Nady mixer-> Boss parametric EQ -> Markbass Compressore
Nice that the dUg does almost all of that in a single unit!
I don't know the exact frequency, but it seems prety low... 200-300Hz would be my guess. The mid boost is a lot higher, and actually seems like a shelf EQ since it has a significant effect on the treble (and hiss) as well. The high channel mid is probably at 600-800Hz or so.So, what frequency is the first low channel mid centered at?
Unfortunately, the mid boost seems quite noisy. I get a pretty significant hiss from it, even with nothing plugged into the amp's input.
If there's anyone out there who is able to talk about or actually perform an A/B with a Landmark 600, PLEASE DO.
I love love love my Landmark 600 but the Dug sure looks like it could fix what isn't broken![]()
I don't plan on returning mine. Yeah, I use it for a subtle overdrive on the high end, rather than a full grind like dUg. I have the LPF and HPF set somewhere around 800Hz or so.So it's been a few weeks; are we still in love? Who returned it and why?
Also - can it dial in a(relatively) flat signal with only slight overdrive on the top? Has anyone experimented with a combined but clean sound?
I remain curious...
Peace
OK, ordered one. Hope it's not too much for my wedding gig this weekend.....

Would not be my first choice for a wedding band but I'm sure you can make it work.
