Dumb pedalboard question

When I put my effects on my pedalboard, I plan on leaving them there for the foreseeable future. Should I take all the batteries out? I plan to run it only on the power adapter. Seems to me that most effects would kill the battery if the patch cords stayed plugged in anyway.

Yes, take them out. Also, batteries will corrode and, if left to their own devices, seep out bad goo. And you are correct with the battery drain so you might as well put them to use elsewhere.

Take them out, they'd just go bad and eventually corrode. The best part: it will make your pedal board a few pounds lighter, depending on how many pedals/batteries you're talking about. On my 15 effect PT Pro the weight loss was noticeable, and every pound counts.
