Dumb question...

I love the sound of a 15. My main rig is a 1 x 15 under a 2 x 10.

I see threads about 410s, 810s and right now a thread about running 2 810s.

Am I the only bassist that still prefers the sound of a single 15" speaker?

No. Though I prefer two of them when possible. There are quite a few fans of 15" speakers here.

Though, of course, the driver's size has little to do with its sound. However, a fair number of really great sounding drivers happen to be 15".
