Duncan designed pickups bs 74?

So I picked up this squier vintage modified body

And I also have a set of jazz pickups lying around

Would this be a WOW upgrade and what would the tone differences be?

I can't speak for their bass pickups but I've got a couple of archtop hollowbodies with DD pickups and they sounded fine. So in all likelihood I doubt the difference will be night and day.

probably not night and day but the USA-made fenders should be better.

(i would, the DDs are made to a low price point and are fine as far as that goes, the fenders should be an upgrade.)
