Dunlop Superbrights manufacturing flaws?

Dunlop is aware that some of our customers have had issues with the Super Bright strings. We had a small run that turned out to be defective, but we have identified root cause of the problem and corrected it. We’ve also implemented a new quality control process to make sure we don’t have these issues in the future.

We appreciate your business—as we’ve pointed out, there’s a whole team of bass players dedicated to creating all the tools you need to lay your groove down—and we know that you expect consistency and quality from us. We are more than happy to replace any defective strings that you have. Please send us a proof of purchase or return the bad strings to us at

I have had at least 5 bad batches of G strings. The latest set was purchased at Keisel Guitars in San Diego a few weeks ago. Light gauge....040 G string---BAD. Again. April 5th 2018. Thanks.
