Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

Guys with one, try turning your blend all the way up once ala all the way clean. I did it for fun and the pedal worked really really well as a clean fat boost. It added some magic to the dry signal and no fuzz. Just harmonically rich fattened goodness. I know its counterintuitive to the fuzz thing but it's even more versatile than I thought.

So the blend is being mixed into the signal right after the Hi control and it goes through a MOSFET gain stage with fixed gain. So it should be a little different then just a dry clean.

I’d give it a whirl... and then when Nick makes more 125b blended wizards, I’d hang the old white supersized wizard on the wall as art.

Haha, ^ Exactly this.. Last week, a day and a half after I'd got my (White) Wizard Fuzz, I loved it so much that I started hounding Nick the Builder about a 125B. After the 125B is ready, I'm really planning on preserving the OG WF. Aside from the brilliant fuzz, I hadn't realized the enclosure was ceramic or porcelain-like . It is like a work of art

They are mighty eye catching.

The one I’m trading for isn’t the large white box. It’s this one, which I happen to like more than the white wizard.

That was how the prototype was like, it had the original artwork instead of the updated artwork. Its not any harder to do it that way IMO
I thought there wouldn't be enough real estate for the graphics.
I don't "get" the newer graphic. Is it a reference to something I'm not familiar with? It doesn't have the same vibe as the original wizard graphic.

Just wizards and fun stuff, nothing too specific.

I don't have the image offhand but the old graphic fits okay on the small box, its not bad.

Very interesting. Whatever you did, do it again on other clean blends. This one is seamless and so natural sounding. The only one that rivals it is the Lone Wolf Audio clean blend circuit. Yours sounds better though. A bit more sparkly and open.
