Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

Which is its self a Michael Moorcock\Eternal Champion reference. Which I'm all good with.
I'm a little more partial to the original artwork of the WF and VT, but they seem to be selling just fine, so what do I know.
Ultimately it’s all about the tone. You could sell them in plain black boxes and I’d buy them.

Yes and no.
At the end of the day, all that matters is what an album sounds like, right? But I don't think many of us, especially those of us that have released music, would deny that the packaging matters. Having a good album cover is important. The art on a pedal is important, as is the name. The only reason I ever learned about Dunwich or the Volt Thrower was by the names and then by the graphics. The combination of the two was an immediate draw for me.
There are other pedal brands that are very well respected, but I hate their graphics. They are too colorful and cartoony. I'm not into the hipster irony of bright, colorful pedals that are used for heavy music. I want a piece of equipment that is as serious as the music I'm going to make with it.
That's my taste.

I agree actually... I dig good graphics, and have especially appreciated Dunwich graphics. But a lack of sexy graphics has never stopped me from buying a great sounding pedal.

or vice versa?

Ok this is a fun fuzz. I don’t doubt that having a blend would be better but for now this’ll do. I have it in the damnation looper, so that helps.

To my knowledge, the low-passed clean blend used by damnation is a dunwich design, so chances are probably pretty good your setup is very close to the 125b with blend
