Check my math but 36V seems to be more than 18V. More has to be better, right? 
18v on the ODB is king. It can take any other dirt/fuzz you throw at it with all that headroom. Most of my dirt pedals would get harsh and gross-sounding with a Swollen Pickle in front, but the ODB swallows it whole (pun intended).
Yes. Most people I run into are referring to the input voltage when they say what they're powering their pedals with, not the internal voltage (if different).

Finally was able to fire up my Wizard 125B. Very, very good pedal. Great blend on it. I find that on this pedal I favor the clean side which is totally opposite of how I use all other blends. All the dynamics of my giant white one. Continuous depth knob seems preferable to me for fine tuning.
Just chiming in. My ODB runs at 18v and it’s my main dirt. Love it. Plays well before my Lone Wolf Audio Left Hand Wrath and after my custom made Green Muff.
