As far as I’m concerned, take your time. I’m in no hurry.Updates:
All the enclosures for the 3 most recent preorders are in process.
I have a ton of orders right now so excuse my lack of response on projects as I try to get through the loads of work.
Sounds great. Nice and fuzzy. Got me interested in a Ge diode for my VT now...Really raw mix of the Dingwall Dbird and a DA120 > Volt Thrower in a track I'm working on.

The VT has a Ge diode, in place of the Hi Si.

Ok... now I want a blended, mid-added VT.
Any way we can drum up enough interest to push for a wee production run of this Bass Overdriver? Apparently its TS based and includes a blend. Yumm.

i have one on the way. while i love the ODB, nothing has managed to push my tube amps like the old Sparkle Drive. i'm hoping this can do the same but with a better blend. the SD always sounded cheesy with the blend and lost too much low end without it.

I hear you on that, but I find cutting the bass out with the 3 way switch really helps to tame the oomph.I've been trying with my ODB and I've given it a bunch of chances, but it just has a little too much Ooomph that I cant reconcile with my rig. I'd love to hear a demo of that Bass Overdriver when you get it.

You wouldn't be the first to move on from the ODB. I have a love/not love affair with it. For some reason I love my 125B version but never got on with the big box version. I think they are exactly the same though. Anyway.....Ive got mine set on the middle selection, which I believe is straight signal. There is a mid grind that seems to exist just between the bass and mids knob frequencies that I can't reach with either adjustment. Don't get me wrong, I love the pedal stacking into other pedals, but it just might not be for me when its soloed.
Not a problem. My volume is only at 10:00 or so on the VT.It’s nice. The volume output is lower than any other diode setting, so you need to turn up the output.
It’s a custom order thing... I’ve got one in the queue.Me too. Is this a thing?
Signed,
I haven’t gone back in this thread to read. #lazy
