Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

Any way we can drum up enough interest to push for a wee production run of this Bass Overdriver? Apparently its TS based and includes a blend. Yumm.

i have one on the way. while i love the ODB, nothing has managed to push my tube amps like the old Sparkle Drive. i'm hoping this can do the same but with a better blend. the SD always sounded cheesy with the blend and lost too much low end without it.

I've been trying with my ODB and I've given it a bunch of chances, but it just has a little too much Ooomph that I cant reconcile with my rig. I'd love to hear a demo of that Bass Overdriver when you get it.

I have the first one
It doesn't have a blend, but I don't really think it needs one. It is pretty transparent and low gain. The pedal works well as a preamp.
I guess if there is one alteration I would want for mine it would be to have more saturation available. Like all of DA's pedals, it is wicked loud and probably designed to hit the front of a tube amp. Unity volume for my DA pedals is usually around 9-10 o'clock. I don't have a tube amp :(

I hear you on that, but I find cutting the bass out with the 3 way switch really helps to tame the oomph.

Ive got mine set on the middle selection, which I believe is straight signal. There is a mid grind that seems to exist just between the bass and mids knob frequencies that I can't reach with either adjustment. Don't get me wrong, I love the pedal stacking into other pedals, but it just might not be for me when its soloed.

You wouldn't be the first to move on from the ODB. I have a love/not love affair with it. For some reason I love my 125B version but never got on with the big box version. I think they are exactly the same though. Anyway.....
