Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

I saw it pop up on Reverb, and looks cool. But WAY too rich for my blood.

Samesies. I watch some of this stuff appear and sell and I wonder who is actually buying this stuff at these prices. I think it's fishing for offers. More than a few times I have put in an offer on something and the offer got rejected saying there are higher offers and then the next day it is sold. The market is so ravenous that rare stuff drops at unreachable prices and it becomes a one day bidding war.

If the price is too high out of the gate, you'll watch the seller drop thier prices regularly until they start getting bids. It's dumb...like buying a car. Say what you will about apple computers, but there is something to be said about the price.is the price and there is no reason to shop around.

Looks like the price just dropped about $300…

Couple more weeks/drops like that and I might snag it! LOL

You never know! Definitely not hoping you buy it so I don’t..

I’m just glad I never developed a sweet tooth for D*A*M stuff, tacos are way cooler sometimes.

HM-2 looks great too! Looks like he revised it enough to be different from Nicks, so of course I’m here for all of that.

Well, He said Revised so that could mean just the art. Just shooting from the hip here.

Someone made an off-hand comment about Nick not letting the design go, to which Magic replied “it’s mine baby” so Take that for what it’s worth.

I just realized that my DIY has 6 knobs and 2 toggles, so I may not need another HM-2 if it's identical. Which is good for my wallet.

The DIY has a 3 band EQ and a blend (besides Gain and Volume) ... the "left hand path" version had a 4 band EQ (besides Gain and Volume), so maybe not identical?

Toggles are probably the same: hard and soft clipping.

Just guessing here ....

Ah, so no blend... Intriguing. So what you're really saying is I might need more HM-2... Dang. ;) Thanks!
