The Frost Giant AOR good on bass too?

Exane's demo is pretty good. I found that its more useable with the bass boost engaged and then its great for doom-y cleans and crunchy midrange OD. At higher gain levels the low end tends to get over saturated and washed out, but I'll run it a Loop Blender because I like the distortion/fuzz from the cascaded gain stages... Eric does great work and I'm glad that Nick is still contributing circuit designs

I get annoyed of sorts with the excane demos bc I have to take into account his active modern bass, which effects dirt a buuuuunch.

You aren't the only one with this issue. I did notice some of his more recent vids include section where he goes passive. There's definitely a mental translation that needs to happen with his demos. That is the case for a few YT guys. Patrick Hunter's videos always sound voiced.

At least he’s incorporated a bunch of different basses

I feel like all of his videos sound almost identical. Just crank the gain and clank away. Rarely do I learn anything useful. Just me, of course, but I much prefer a demo that showcases different tones of a pedal.
