Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

cosmicevan doesn’t have a backup gravity well??

The cosm ice van doesn't have one gravity well, let alone 2. There is only.one pedal that I have 2 of.

if only I stopped selling pedals from the start lol

This. I don't regret selling instruments but pedals definitely.

I met up with Magic on Sunday. He handed over the Super Volt Thrower and we talked a little bit.

As for the Super-VT, I've only had a couple minutes with it but all I can say is WOW! It's by far the most versatile rat I've ever played. @cosmicevan gets his next!

He also brought up an idea for the ODB that I have not heard before. He recommended swapping out the IC chip in the ODB. Others have tried it with good results. The chip used in the ODB is a Burr Brown Op2134. Any standard single op amp will work like an TL072/JRC4558 or Ne5532. He stated, "Basically, the chip is “hi fidelity” and the others are gonna be noisy and super distorted. It’s almost like the gain starts where the gain ends on the standard chip." I'm excited to try it out. I'll be sure to report back my findings.

I ordered the original Super Volt Thrower... I'd buy it back in a heart beat if I had the chance.
